Duncolm

A ‘strenuous’ 11 mile walk in the Kilpatricks with Glasgow Ramblers. Mostly clear weather with a bit of a breeze on top of Duncolm (highest point at around 400m in the Kilpatrick Hills) where we had lunch, and I took this blip. A trek over the heather with wonderful displays of purple orchids to the summit of Doughnot, and then back to Kilpatrick train station via Blacklinn reservoir. Great company and quiet tracks only a couple of runners, and a few cyclists as we emerged onto tarmac.
