Historic Day

This rainy day was an exciting, landmark day in the history of Finland: our national football team had their first ever appearance in a major finals, in Euro 2020. And the result was momentous, Finland won Denmark 1-0! However, the match won’t be remembered for the result. When Christian Eriksen collapsed four minutes before half-time, needing CPR on the pitch, it seemed unthinkable that the game could continue. But after good news from a hospital, the game continued later. I don't know much about football, but this was the game that almost everyone in Finland watched, and everyone will remember this dramatic evening.

I had a lovely lunch with my friend Pia in the restaurant Tuhto and then we did a trip to Lempäälä and visited the most charming Cafe Siiri. 

Emma worked today at granny's, she cleaned their windows.

Hubby's sailing team crossed the finishing line before midnight.
