Michaela at Work

A breezy day.  It was sunny this morning, and then clouded over, with light showers.  It cleared up again, and a sunny afternoon and evening. 

Up early, and headed to the peat hill this morning.  Finally finished casting my peats.  Popped by Madeline's after lunch.  Met friend Julie for a cuppa at Sumburgh Lighthouse, and then walkies with the dogs.  Met Jonny and Ruth at St Ninian's too.  A quiet evening at home, might pop for a pint later.

It was Michaela's 15th birthday a few days ago, and wasn't able to pop down, so I made the trip to see her at her work today, to hand over my present.  She started as a waitress a month ago, loving it and great to watch her in action.  Her calm, pleasant nature, and very work conscientious, makes her a great employee, and superb with the customers.  Here she is serving me with a hidden smile, and my ridiculous pose.  Taken at the Unkan Wagon café, Sumburgh Lighthouse, Sumburgh Head.
