All Out....!!!!

Not a Industrial Action but a Fire Alarm....

Wednesday is always Fire Alarm Test day and so every week we ignore the bell as it rings...."it's just a test" someone shouts....

Today however, it was not a test....!!

A smoke alarm went off somewhere in the building and so it was "Everyone Out"....

Now, on the face of it 'no big deal' you may think....but you'd be wrong....I'm not permitted to make my own way out of the building; instead I have to be "Evacuated"

Today it was Dan here (ably assisted by Haydn and Adam) who strapped me into the torture chair and escorted me, as always, ignominiously from the building.

It's not my favourite way to get 15 minutes off work....but as least I didn't end up toasted in the stairwell ;)
