Grey Heron

The young one was on the branch of the dead tree but did not come over straight away as there were Graylags nearby. A family about 50 yards away started feeding some ducks and the graylags move off to see what was going on. The young one was straight over. I grabbed a quick shot then proceeded to give her the fish I had brought. I had cut it into larger chunks as it meant she would get more if the geese showed up. The Canada geese were quickly over but again just ignored her. I had given her nearly all the fish when a couple of greylags appeared and she took off to her branch again.
