Just what you need on a hot afternoon!

I’ve been without my trusty Nikon Coolpix for over a week.
I really missed it.
It just stopped working.
Tried to charge the battery overnight and zilch.
Transpired it finally (amongst all suggestions received and gleaned) needed a new rechargeable battery.
I must admit holding my breath when I tried it!
But all is well!
And we go to Cornwall next weekend for our annual stay on the Lizard. So I am so glad to have it back.
Glad it wasn’t this week. G7 and all that jazz.
Hats off to our Queen for upstaging the world leaders! She has more gravitas in her little finger than all of them put together. (IMO).
Glorious afternoon.
Had my hair trimmed and then went to meet Stephen at the local Farm Bistro for a cool drink and some ice cream. Sitting looking out over green fields edged with cow parsley and swathes of buttercups interspersed.
Love it. English summer.
Hardly goes completely dark now up to midnight.
I still get behind with comments but catch up eventually!
