Et Voila!
Well... it should really be called work in progress. WOW what a process it is though...-chop up shirts and pjs and the odd oair of boxers (washed)
-iron the lot
-cut out the pieces all 6inches wide an various lengths siming for as little waist as poss
-erm... then lay out all the 280 pieces on the floor so you know that there are no two pieces the same next to each other
- number each row and gather each row into pile and keep each pile in order
-stitch each row together piece by piece gazing everynowngain at yesterdays blip ie when yoyr neck hurts
-iron all the seams open
-lay the rows out again (todays photo)
-stitch each row together, very carefully using lots if pins where the seams are
-iron each row's seam as you go for better finish
-pologies por pelling mistakes. Doing this on my phone....
Anyway i'll carry on stitching it together on friday and then I will back in royal blue cotton. Its massive cos it for a king size bed in a house in France.
