Ching

Today I took a series of photos at the NKI in Amsterdam (dutch cancer research center) for their website and a scientific brochure. I worked together with Ching Chen; she's the graphic designer at the agency that hired me. We took portraits of researchers, in their labs and in a studio setting. The studio portraits will be printed in monochrome so I shot them against green to be able to vary the brightness of the background in post-processing. I used a tilt/shift lens to get a big part of the photo out of focus.

Ching was my stand-in while setting up the lighting for the portraits, I took this shot of her first thing this morning. I liked the green background here so I kept this one in color...
