QE Health..

..opened in 1942 as a Health and Services Convalescent Hospital providing rehabilitation to soldiers returnng from WW2.  It certainly doesn;t lokas though it's had a coat of paint or anything done to the oustside since then. The building is well past it's use by date and a new facility is finally being built, the beginning of which can be seen just to the left of the picture.  People come from all over the country (and before covid from around the world) ,to this Geothermal Health Spa which  provides clinically based holisitic treatments such as volcanic mud and mineral water treatments, found to be particularly helpful for people with all forms of arthritis and chronic pain.
