A walk on the wild side

Usual cliff-top walk. Up to the Marriott. Checked out progress of the Savoy Hotel redevelopment (new owners, will be a *5* resort). Nice breeze but warmed up as we walked into town.

So walked home on the shaded side, via St Stephen’s churchyard. Apparently the discarded syringes were cleared away recently - hope the couple in my blip were ‘clean’. There are often ‘disadvantaged’ characters lurking around so we tend to avoid the grounds.

Not much else to recount, apart from the huge rise in Covid cases, +8125 today, and 63% increase on the week. Locally a popular bar has closed temporarily after ‘several’ people associated with the venue were tested Covid positive. So back to on-line shopping for me!

Thought Carrie looked lovely at the G7. Though really bugs me how grown couples have to hold hands for these things. And that elbow banging too - why not just go for the Indian Namaste greeting?
