Day 8 Napier

This morning we cycled from Taradale to Ahuriri, where we met a friend for coffee.  After coffee we met the two lovely hosts from our first four nights here and cycled through Westshore and along the path next to the ocean out to Bayview and the Snapper Jack Café, where we had a light lunch and a chat.  We then cycled back to Ahuriri, where we parted company and hubby and I cycled home around the estuary path.  We had a nice relaxing afternoon and then drove back into Napier for dinner with friends at an excellent Turkish restaurant. It was a lovely day with blue sky and sunshine, just perfect for a cycle ride and meeting up with friends.  The blip shows two interesting post boxes we passed by at Bayview, top right is the view as we cycled back towards Napier, and bottom left is a view of the estuary wetlands area where there were a lot of black swans and other birds.
