Pot Plant

So there's a new Pope eh... I think the only time that news could possibly affect me is if I were to awake from a coma and a doctor asked me who the Pope was, as a test of my higher brain function.

This is the little pot plant (species and genus unidentified) which my lovely boyfriend bought me at the weekend.

In other news, the cake I'm entering in to the Red Nose Day Cake Competition at work is in the oven. I tried to swirl raspberry puree through the sponge to make it a red and white marble effect, but the colour wasn't strong enough so it just looks a sort of mottled pink... Still smells nice though so might be OK
