Keepers!
JR went off to the gym for two sessions! The woman is a fanatic.
Meanwhile, I had a visit from my cousin from Glasgow, who was on his way to visit Uncle A. Then Archie and I visited the vet for Archie’s vaccination, but it was also his 6 month check up, which has been ignored for about a year.
I took him round the block before leaving him with his bone while I went down town AGAIN. Yes, I returned one pair of shoes, and picked up another pair I’d ordered. Is this the fourth pair? Anyway, I was down and back in no time, the buses obliging nicely. I think these shoes are keepers…
In fact, as I came home, JR was arriving in the other direction. I then spent the afternoon watching the tennis - a great game between Tsitsipas and Zverev. I didn’t bother watching the next one between Nadal and Djokovic - I’ve seen their matches so often.
JR and Archie went a big walk in the Hermitage - they’re not the slightest bit interested in tennis. I may even watch a few of the EURO football games, though it’s not my favourite sport - I can’t bear the pretending to be hurt (diving) or the arguing with the referee.
Have just booked a spur-of-the-moment wee holiday!
