Back home

After breakfast headed back home, going through some fog in the Lake District.

Had a great time in Blackpool, especially it being the first time staying at the Imperial Hotel, which cannot be recommended highly enough. The hotel is very elegant, fabulous food and the staff are so attentive and nothing is a problem to them. Loved it so much, it’s booked again for a trip in October.

The hotel, built originally in 1869 was also in recent history the home of various party political conferences and the bar in the hotel is named No. 10 for obvious reasons. As you can see there are also mirrors with the names of the recent Prime Ministers who have stayed there.
