Tombstoning?

Down to Edinburgh for a fleeting visit and back up north tomorrow.
I stopped off at Stonehaven to eat my sandwiches.
I suspect what happened here is that the male had jumped into the water and was encouraging his partner to jump in too. I watched for a while but he climbed out of the water and eventually they walked away.
Of course, he might have fallen into the water and she was too scared to rescue him.
