2021 Thursday — Bob’s Big Boy

I really really like overalls. But you gotta admit, his checkerboard overalls are a little weird.

This has been a fairly relaxed Thursday, and it just felt good to be home with a minimal agenda.

Mr. Fun had a 3:00 pm dental appointment for a cleaning with the Hygenist. And we actually were able to make his next appointment in December line-up with our SoCal schedule.

Then he returned to the house to get me and the two pups, Chloe & Mitzi, and we were headed to the Kaiser Medical facility near us in Riverside for a 6pm appointment with a Nurse Practioner. This came about because I phoned to get him an appointment with the orthopedic surgeon who did surgery on his knee way back at the end of 2013. Well of course we can’t get an appointment with a doctor we haven’t been seeing recently, so we decided to skip meeting with our family doctor and opted for an immediate appointment with a Nurse Practitioner because Mr. Fun’s knee is swollen and painful.

The appointment went well and she made the referral to Orthpedics. We hope to get in soon to get some help with this troublesome knee.

Then we made a stop at a favorite restaurant, Bob’s Big Boy, for dinner.

And that was our second Thursday in June.
