First blip for a long while - there will be some more back blipped for the last week.

This is a Red Kite during the feeding at Nant-yr-Arian in Wales near Ponterwyd. As well as the noise, there is also some snow. When the feeding stated there was a sudden snow flurry, and despite what we were told about the Kites not liking the snow, and preferring to take refuge in the trees, they were still flying around and putting on a great display.

The Red Kite is now coming back from near extinction in Wales (and England and Scotland) with about 300 breeding pairs in Wales.
