Afternoon all,

Surveyor out to Tanker so he could sample tanks then back in.
This is the Pilots ladder....the Pilot or anyone else wishing to board a ship at see needs to climb this to get aboard. Might be lucky and get a combination ladder where you climb partly up this ladder then step across to the gangway which ships crew would have lowered so far down.....you'll see what I mean in extra pic

Couldn't use the ladders in extra as too bouncy on the river so not safe, went to the otherside of the ship, his leeside as it gives us shelter, and got up Pilot ladder.

Not really what you want to do in a storm....
