Sawdust Thursday.....

Fed the cattle then Alan Knox came in with a load of sawdust for the shearing sheds . He went next door first and then came here with what was left. He was emptied and away by 8.30 am , so not bad going.
Spent most of the day building up the pens and wool rolling table in the shed as we are hoping to shear hoggs next week . Had a wee trip into the big smoke to drop junior and his girlfriend off in George Street tonight. Haven’t been in Edinburgh for a long time , but the roads are ruined. All this extra lane for pedestrians and cyclists nonsense makes the congestion worse and you never know if you are in the right lane or not . Then if a bus stops that’s the job totally buggered !
Back home to single track road normality !
Mr Knox keeps his lorry in immaculate condition. And the paintwork is something to behold. What a difference bring an owner/ operator makes .
