In Lady Waterford Hall, Ford, Northumberland. Lady Waterford painted these watercolour murals on the walls of the village school from the 1860s onwards, featuring the faces of the people and children in the village. They were beautiful......takes classroom display to a whole different level!! Well worth a visit.
