On Monday Lou was told that her post chemo/ radiotherapy scan shows that her tumour has progressed. It has been a difficult few days. 
However, nurse was dispatched from the hospice with improved pain relief which has been really effective. Today she was well enough to spend the afternoon drinking tea in Sara's garden. 
It will take a couple of weeks treatment for an infection and swelling before plan B can be determined. Her ability to pick herself up and keep moving forward is humbling.
