Today's the day ......................... to wear flowers in your hair

Looking after Josie for a couple of days while Rob and Anna finally manage a night away - originally a Christmas present that fell foul of covid restrictions, more than once.  

As Tessa is with the other Grandparents, I have to say that looking after only one grandchild seems remarkably easy when you've been used to two!  But then Josie is a happy child - content to be doing anything you might suggest.  And the suggestion this afternoon was a picnic by the sea which actually combined two of her favourite things - water and eating cake - so we were on a winner.

And it was lovely to be out enjoying the fresh air, even if the weather was a bit misty.  Josie was in her element among all the pink flowers (see extra) - and she even managed to persuade her Taid to put some in his hair .......................!
