Afternoon ride (Day 2226)

A much better day today.
Work yesterday left me struggling a bit mentally. Despite only having been at the house re-furb for 2 days I needed a break away from it. First job of the day was to sort out an issue with a hot water system. I got it sorted after a bit of fiddling about.
Next a trip to Stromness to change a float valve and sort a tap which was stuck off. Both were nice straightforward jobs and meant I was home at lunchtime and got myself organised to take Sigyn out a wander.
We headed out to Lyde and up onto the hills above the road. She really enjoys being up there and spent her time charging around trying to catch stuff in the heather.
Back home, a bunch of bits had arrived for the Bandit, so there was an excuse to spend an hour in the garage doing a bit of tinkering before my beautiful wife got home from her 24 hour shift.
We were soon off out again and bound for Stromness to get out on the horses for a short ride. Exactly what we both needed.
