The Menagerie House

Full of cold today so not feeling really with it...it came courtesy of our eldest granddaughter who was sniffling whilst we were away last week!!

Anyway, we met up with daughter and youngest granddaughter at Nostell Priory. We recently bought them a family National Trust membership and she is keen to get good use out of it.

Coffee and cakes (again) to start the day, then Emily spent ages in the playground having a really good run a round.

We walked down the lake and had our picnic then around to see this old gem (I have blipped it before, but it looks different as the trees are fuller now).

Walked back to the cafe for tea/ice creams and then drove home. About three miles walked ... little one fell asleep in their car on the way home.
