We Plough The Fields And Scatter?
I was just wondering about the life of a farmer in 1782 when the German poet, Matthias Claudius, wrote this hymn we sing at Harvest Festival. We accept, and indeed, welcome advances in technology, but complain when wind farms spoil our view of the landscape.
Do I like this field?
In the distance, when the plastic shines and mimics water, no, but I adore the effect close up of the patterns formed as the parallel lines follow the undulating land.
