Roses at last!

After a night of little sleep, for all kinds of reasons, one of them being too warm, I had an appointment at 9.00am. Just a 15 minute walk.
Stephen picked me up afterwards and we went for a coffee.

I have three friends coming this afternoon for a catch up, which will include tea, and some of Stephen’s Fat Free Fruit cake (which is currently in the oven).
There are some scones and chocolate cake, should they so wish, made the other day.
We haven’t met together since early July last year.
