Thomas Watson’s grave in Kilrenny Kirkyard near Cellardyke erected by his wife Mary.
Thomas was press-ganged into service in 1799 along with Mary who was a nurse. Their daughter Margaret was born on HMS Ardent during the Battle of Copenhagen & as a four and half year old child Margaret was on board Victory during the battle of Trafalgar.
Thomas & Mary returned to Cellardyke to run a pie & ale shop in the village.
