Project 365 day 160: almost time to make cordial!

Walking round the garden after seven this evening, I found the first elderflower buds opening - so it is almost time to start making cordial. They are late this year; last year there were already two batches in the freezer by now. I liked the patterns created by the shadows of the buds which the low evening sun was casting on the sunlit leaves.
