3.40ish sunrise

My friend Val loved taking photos at sunrise and hers were always a collection of beautiful colours.  I live at the bottom of a hill and sunrise photos were never an option during the winter.  However this morning I awoke around 3.30 and it was not quite daylight, but I got up and took this photo from a window with an outlook that is much further east and while not capturing a rising sun, there was a bit of daylight visible.
