Bails go flying...

Surrey second XI against Hampshire seconds in a t20 match at the Oval this afternoon. I only had time to stay for the Hampshire innings in which they scored a respectable 179 for 7. Four of the wickets fell to first team regular Amar Virdi in the 18th and 20th overs. The picture shows Hampshire wicketkeeper George Metzger having his bails dislodged after missing a somewhat optimistic sweep shot against Virdi from the fifth ball of the final over.

Any blipper from a non-cricketing background will of course find all the above utterly incomprehensible!
