Oxford Botanics

Walked down to the University of Oxford Botanical Gardens for the first time in over a year - it was a lovely morning and we had coffee from the outdoor stall and then bought a takeaway lunch on the Cowley Road - apart from the still necessary social distancing and mask-wearing it almost felt normal! The gardens are celebrating their 400th anniversary this year: there’s something deeply comforting about a place that has been established for such a long time.
