Up close and personal with Mr. Snail

The wet weather really brought out the snails today, and they are such perfect photo subjects - slow, cooperative and good-looking: the perfect subject for an amateur photographer like myself!

I'm pretty much all packed up for tomorrow - very exciting to see two full panniers rather than just a pile of items. Should mean that bar a few last items, I should just be able to sling things onto the bike and head out smoothly tomorrow! Hoping to get out before 9am so I can take my time over the cycle and stop at a few places along the way! Especially excited to pass through the Falkirk Wheel - the last time I was there was probably when I was 12. Can't wait for tomorrow!
