A Shady Spot by the Stream

B and I visited Hindringham Hall this morning.  A beautiful manor house with gorgeous gardens.  From a photographic point of view it's a shame that they don't open until 10am as the light is too harsh by then to get the sort of photo that I like (or at least that's my excuse).  I did enjoy wandering around the gardens though, it was very relaxing and great to hear my 2nd cuckoo this week!

So instead of the brightly coloured contrasting flowers in the formal gardens I've chosen a photo of this shady spot that's between the garden and the medieval fish ponds.

I've included an extra of a reflection in the moat of some of the colourful flowers.
