This is the cover of the only book we had in the house when I was a child, an illustrated dictionary. Its lettering was once bright gold. I read it from cover to cover, twice.

I had reason to revisit Brene Brown today. If you don't know her - you should. Everyone should, eight million and counting have watched her TED talk on the power of vulnerability. But this is my all-time favourite talk of hers. She talks about life-changing stuff but if she ever gives up academia she'd be a star as a stand-up. She's on Oprah this coming Sunday. Go Brene!
