SWEET PEAS

This is the very first flower of the red & white SWEET PEAS, this year.
Last year, my son gave me seedlings that grew beautifully & impressed
my neighbor.  In fact, I thought they might grow over the wall & flower into her garden.  She ordered the seeds & grew some seedlings for me
this year.   They have been slow to take off, but will be  beautiful
climbing at the back of the bed.

Who knew HUMMINGBIRDS love SWEET PEAS, also?  The other day
I saw a hummer buzzing around my other pink & purple SWEET PEAS.  
Maybe it is the delicate scent that attracts them.....
