Goodbye sunny Ardfern - Bob and I went to put the boat on the mooring and we ended up putting it on his (luckily his boat wasn’t there) as we got in a fankle on the intended one. He shouted after me to say not to worry and that he'd get it sorted, as I legged it to the bus. The poor guy is probably happy to see the back of me. And there it is - from the bus window as we sped away. Home late afternoon to sit in the sun, as if we haven’t been doing quite enough of that lately. And to read, for I’ve found the most marvellous book. Stefan Zweig’s "The World of Yesterday: Memoirs of a European.” And of course, as you’d expect, it’s not just an OK read. Nooo! It’s essential reading, I tell you. Essential reading for our times! For all times!! I could go on, but my eyes were beginning to close...
