Kyrgyz carrots

This grater, bought for about 25p in a market on the main road back to Bishkek will always bring back memories of a wonderful cycle touring holiday in Kyrgyzstan. Somewhere beyond the tarmac and electricity; yurts, horses, stupendous scenery and amazing afternoon teas. And salads of square grated carrots, so distinctive that several of our group bought souvenir graters. Anyway I fancied some with my tea tonight!
