Clapton

For years when I worked in London Victoria, I used to see the 38 bus leaving the bus station bound for Clapton Pond. I used to imagine what it was like. So today, fellow Blipper W and I met at Stratford and walked there via the Olympic Park and the Lea Navigation. We stopped for lunch in a cafe right by this mural, before arriving at the Pond shortly afterwards - see extra. It was a very pleasant place with lots of waterfowl and some very large fish. I can now tick this off the list!
