Mossy trees in Overside Wood

Today we walked along part of the eastern side of Derwent Water, along the Cumbrian Way: this was disappointing - too many other people and no views of the lake! We then headed west through to Newlands Valley and back to Braithwaite. The extra photo shows a lovely pair of lambs posing by the public footpath near Braithwaite
