Surprise in the Garden

Thank you so much for all your lovely supportive comments and hearts on my memories of 'A Beautiful Girl' yesterday :) You are such lovely people!

I have been offline and had no phone all day due to a 'high priority network incident affecting multiple customers'!

I will say for TalkTalk I am impressed with the service they provide in an instance like this. I called them from my mobile and there was a message on the customer service number regarding the fault. They then contacted my mobile every couple of hours or so updating what was happening, and finally at ten to five confirmed that fault was fixed :) I hope everyone else has such a positive feedback!

Anyway, today was the day Billy was booked for the vet and his jabs!

It went like a dream. Unfortunately, he was asleep on the sofa when I had to put the top back on the basket (and of course he knew pretty quickly what was going to happen)...

Anyway because I'd shut all the other doors he got nowhere, and I managed to pick him up and put him in before he had too much time to protest!! Protest he did though, in the car, ALL the way to the vets. Once we got there he refused to come out and the vet picked him up and put him on the scales...once there he stayed there and made not a mutter when he was jabbed! Job Done :)

When I was just about to drive off the drive on the way, I spotted something purple in the grass, and when I came back I grabbed my camera and went for a closer look~it was this :) I have no idea what it is, can anyone help me out? there are two!

I am still coughing and very fed up. A friend suggested yesterday that I should put vicks on my chest, which I have and it did make the night a bit better. What didn't make it better, was my hottie leaking hot water onto the bed, just after I'd moreorless gone to sleep...luckily I realised in time and got it into the bathroom basin, put a towel over the wet bit and went back to sleep!!

Looking forward to the second part of Masterchef tonight, so glad its back on BBC1 ;)
