The crowd that came in from the cold

There we were, sitting comfortably in seats 8A and B, waiting to begin.
We had braved the elements at Birmingham airport as we were boarding, but these poor, cold, last passengers had been exposed for much longer than us and judging by what they were saying as they boarded, they had not enjoyed the experience!
