Wenatchee Rock Rose

According to my friend botanist Susan Ballinger in her blog, Tweedy's lewisia -- known locally as Wenatchee Rock Rose -- is an endemic species and only grows in our local mountains. We spied many plants on the path and it was like walking through a botanical gardens.
