The Meaning of Life

... The Universe, and Everything! Today our firstborn turned 42. It was wonderful (and rare) to be spending his birthday together. We puppysat while Mr and Mrs PP Jnr walked down to the beach and back, and again while they had a special lunch at their wedding hotel in Totnes. This photo is from a doggy walk in the village. Our daughter in law gave our son a boxed set of Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which, appropriately, celebrates its 42nd year since first publication. My Extra, in our back garden, shows the birthday boy enjoying (re)reading the first tome.
