Underlighting
At the end of yet another super hot day clouds began to roll in. As the sun set a wonderful display of reds and blues developed in the sky as light shone on the under side of the clouds. What struck me were the soft reflections and the circling clouds overhead (which didn't come across in the image, unfortunately).
Trying to record what I could see with my eyes was another matter. What looked red to me, the camera showed as yellow. After playing with exposure and white balance, I concluded dramatic under exposure resulted in the best I could achieve.
Of course that meant raising the shadows substantially in LR and dealing with consequent noise, which hopefully won't show on blip.
Extra: Prime Example.
