There are many footpaths in Dalkeith Country Park beside fields and in the woods where one can see hardly anyone.  Many people go no further than the park centre where there is a superb adventure playground for children and soon there will be a new tree top trail including netted walkways and zip lines.  Today several men were high up in trees constructing platforms and routes for a new Go Ape  which will thrill visitors especially the young and hopefully our grandchildren will get the chance to visit sometime this year and see if it is as good as the one near Aviemore.
