Surprising discovery…..!!

My husband has been taking apart an old upholstered settee which had been made by his grandfather, who was a qualified upholsterer. There is only the wooden structure left, and, this morning, he was amazed to find his father’s signature written on one of the spars - together with the date: September 1915 and his address. As his father was born in 1900 - he must have been just 15 years old!
