The driveway

There is plenty of colour in the garden just now and plenty weeds too. Our local builder came to asses the damage and I phoned the insurance people who told me I can claim but I will find I get charged a lot more per year in future.  You just can't win with these companies. I have always maintained that insurance companies are there to make money from people who can ill afford it. They are certainly not there to help folk in times of flood etc.
LOH came over for a chat tonight  and has gone back to the Lodge with a box of empire biscuits I had made. They were always one of her favourites. They explored the fairy glen at Rosemarkie and spent time on the beach.
