On the waterfront.

Glorious sunny day so we decided to take a picnic to Rutland Water. A bit of history , we picked up my daughter and her little doggies and off we went.

On our way we spotted an Egret in the river and I caught him as he flew off. We arrived at the car park and it was quite busy but fortunately it is a vast area so plenty room for all.

We wandered about for a bit then found an empty bench at the waters edge and had our picnic. After lunch we walk along the shore to visit the church as we approach we spotted a wedding party. 

We returned to the car and headed back to my daughters house as our grandson was coming for tea, we hadn’t seen him in over a year.

Packing up tomorrow and heading to Wales where we will be staying for the next 10 days.
