Hot Stuff

It’s a sunny and sweltering summer-like day with temperatures currently at 91F. I’ll try my best not to complain too much since I know it’s even warmer in other parts of Maine. Tomorrow looks to be the same, then back to more normal temps on Wednesday. Believe me when I say we are looking forward to that! • We visited our favorite gardening store this morning to pick up a few more plants. I guess one can never have enough :) All of our flower beds and veggie garden got a big drink too but we had to retreat indoors because the sun is just too warm. Heat stroke is NOT on today’s agenda! • I’ll be prepping dinner early to be able to watch World Series Softball later this afternoon and evening. MrsP doesn’t mind as she also likes to watch but she’s planning to get some sewing done too. Two peas in a pod :) but a friend prefers to call us “Peas and Carrots” • Hope you’re as cool as a cucumber wherever you may call home :)
