A real workout

One of the things that I love most about pilates is that by making me pay attention to my breath, I'm forced to actually remember TO breathe.

How often do we stop and notice that which we do on auto-pilot? Sure we breathe naturally but it's so essential it seems like something we ought to spend more time paying attention to and working on.

Another thing I love about pilates? My merciless and witty instructor: "On your back, on your knees, harder" - she always leaves me sore and wanting more. Ha!
